"I was able to cancel in the end..."
I was able to cancel in the end, but it definitely took more clicks than it should have. What annoyed me more was feeling like the terms had changed from what I originally expected, so I had to double-check everything before finishing. Not a total nightmare, but not exactly simple either...

"A bit too advanced for the age range"
Some of the books felt way too advanced for the kids they’re supposedly meant for. I’m sure they’re great for someone, just maybe not the age group listed, which would’ve been nice to know beforehand.

"We’ve gotten a few Literati boxes now, and..."
We’ve gotten a few Literati boxes now, and I have to say, I’m relieved they haven’t sent us any books we already own. My kid’s bookshelf is already packed, so I really didn’t want to deal with repeats or the hassle of sorting that out. So far, it’s been simple, no duplicates, and that makes the box feel worth it.
"New books pop up quicker than most places"
I’ve noticed the latest releases show up here really fast, usually sooner than I see them on other sites. It’s nice not having to keep checking around when I’m looking for something new to read.
"Personalization is kind of all over the place"
I feel like the personalization works sometimes and then other times it’s just totally off because a few picks actually fit what I like well but then I’d get others that felt completely random and made me wonder where they even came from.

"Return shipping left a bad taste"
The books themselves were fine, and my kid did end up liking a few of them, so it wasn’t a total miss. But having to pay for return shipping made the whole thing feel a lot less worth it. I also didn’t love how unclear that was upfront, i’m usually skeptical of customer service in situations like this because it feels like they’re not exactly eager to point out the stuff that costs you extra. Not the worst experience, but I’d think twice before ordering again...

"Return policy was easy to understand"
I liked that the return policy was actually clear and not buried in tiny print somewhere. I knew what to do if something didn’t work out, which... made ordering feel a lot less stressful.

"Easy to use, with just a small hiccup"
I found the books I wanted quickly and checkout was simple, which I appreciated because I’m always a little cautious when ordering online. A couple pages took longer to load, but nothing that made me worried enough to stop. Overall, the site felt easy to use and the process was smooth

"Helpful once they got back to me, but a bit slow"
I reached out to Literati because I had a billing question, the wait felt longer than I would’ve liked. It wasn’t a total mess or anything, but I think it took a couple of days before I got a clear answer, which made it feel a little frustrating on my end.
The person who eventually responded was friendly and did sort everything out, so I don’t want to make it sound worse than it was. My take is that the service itself was fine, but when it comes to billing or anything money-related, I’d really expect a faster response.

"The club felt a little too quiet for me"
I was hoping the club would feel more active and community-driven, but from my experience, it was quiet. I posted and waited for some interaction, but hardly anyone responded, which made it feel a bit awkward and disconnected. Maybe it works better for people who don’t mind a slower pace, but personally, I was looking for more back-and-forth and a stronger community vibe
"We’ve been using literati for a little..."
We’ve been using literati for a little while now, and it’s been a nice surprise. I ordered it kind of on a whim after talking about books with another parent at soccer practice, of all places, and the books they’ve sent have actually been right around my son’s reading level.
They’re not the super babyish ones he rolls his eyes at, but they’re also not so hard that he gives up after two pages. Lately he’s even been picking them up on his own, which is not something that used to happen much unless I reminded him about twenty times.
I also like that it takes the guessing out of it for me. Wandering around the bookstore trying to figure out what’s “just right” always felt weirdly stressful, especially when I’m also thinking about dinner or whether we’re out of toothpaste, so this has been much easier.

"My book showed up looking really..."
My book showed up looking really good—no bent corners, scuffs, or random marks, which I always check for right away. The cover was clean, the pages felt new, and even the shipping box was in solid shape. I tend to notice patterns with packaging, and this felt like they actually handle books carefully. Happy with it and I’d order from literati again.

"Loved How It showed Up"
Got the books from Literati the packaging made a really Nice first impression. The box was clean, neat, and not all banged up, which I always Appreciate. Everything inside was wrapped well and felt a little special without trying too hard. My kid was Excited before we even got to the books, just from opening it all up. Small thing, but it really did make the whole experience feel better

"The author notes are such a nice touch"
I’ve been in a few different book clubs, literati’s author notes have been one of my favorite parts. They feel real and easy to connect with, not overly polished or forced. I love getting those little insights because they make it so much more enjoyable to dive into each book. I’ve been really happy with it so far.

"Nice gift, just a little confusing"
I got a Literati gift subscription for my niece, and like I said, the books were really cute and she was happy with them. The only thing is the setup and renewal stuff felt a bit confusing to figure out. Like I said, it wasn’t a bad experience at all, I just wish everything was a little clearer for what it costs.

"Love the books, but I’m picky about shipping"
I really like the books and the whole concept, so I’m probably a little biased and keep giving it another chance. That said, the delivery has been hit or miss for me. A few boxes showed up right on schedule, but others were late and I didn’t get much of an update while I was waiting. Nothing ever went missing, which is good, but it’s still frustrating when you’re excited for the next box. Customer service was fine, but I do wish the shipping was more consistent.

"Nice books, but I wish the picks felt more varied"
We’ve had a good experience with Literati overall. My kid has definitely found a few books they really enjoyed, and I do appreciate that the boxes include different cultures and family experiences. That said, some of the selections still start to feel a little too similar after a while. I keep sticking with it because I don’t want my kid to miss out on the occasional really great book we might not have found on our own, but I do wish there were more diverse authors and a wider mix of stories in each box. It’s not bad at all, just feels like it could be better.

"My kid actually gets excited to read these"
My daughter genuinely looks forward to these, which still kind of surprises me. The box showed up last week right after snack time, and she grabbed it before I even got the scissors out. She actually sat down and started reading on her own, which is not always how things go in our house. So yeah, big win for us.

The books matched my kid's interests well. He seemed happy with the choices, and it was nice to see him actually wanting to read them.

"My kid is actually reading more"
We tried literati for my 8-year-old, it’s been a nice little surprise. The books they send are usually right around his reading level, and he gets excited having something new show up instead of me standing in a store totally guessing.
I also like that the stories naturally bring up questions and new words, so it feels like he’s learning without it turning into homework. AND WAIT, somehow this has become the thing he reaches for instead of asking for a screen, which I did not see coming
